México City is home to some of the world's great restaurants.  You have your choice of traditional Mexican restaurants, seafood specialists, Spanish, French, Chinese, Argentinean and Italian cuisines. You will find some of the world's greatest steak houses and also some of the best tacos. The quality of meals is incredibly high and the prices, especially in the fancier restaurants, go right up the scale with the quality. Along with all of this great food comes some of the most impeccable service you're likely  to experience...anywhere.  México City can be one of the worlds truly great dining experiences.

Not all in México City is fancy and expensive, there are many comfortable sidewalk cafes and family style restaurants that offer great food at reasonable prices.  These restaurants are around every corner, in all of the colonias (neighborhoods), and many offer their own delicious specialties. 

Fast food fanatics rejoice, there are Carl's Jr., McDonalds, KFC, Pizza Hut and Domino's are all over the city.  Many of the restaurants and fast food establishments will deliver to your hotel or rental.

We have listed quite a few restaurants, trying to present as great a cross-section as possible.  We cannot even come close to listing the over two thousand restaurants in the city.  A number of México City restaurants require gentlemen to wear a coat and tie so we suggest that you call ahead to check if a dress code is in effect.  Reservations are always a good idea here, especially if you are dining after 9 PM, so make your reservations and check for a dress code at the same time.  Ask the front desk at your hotel to help you with this if you do not speak Spanish.
